House of Shame / Chantal All Night Long will be presented at the 6th Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival (TLVfest), held June 11-18, 2011.
Thanks to festival director Yair Hochner and to everyone, who made this possible.
We are very proud to be part of this unique event and we look very much forward to being in Tel Aviv from June, 14 until June, 18.
Along with the film comes an exhibition with 12 photographs from the House of Shame series (J.Jackie Baier, 1999-2011), 6 colour prints and 6 B&W inkjet on baryta (printed by LPG/Berlin – www.pixelgrain.com), size cm70x84 and cm70x105. Each print comes signed, dated and numbered (edition of 6).

Noch zwei Tage bis zum Beginn der Berlinale – und noch neun Tage bis zur Premiere von House of Shame / Chantal All Night Long …
Allmählich macht sich ein wenig Aufregung bemerkbar.
Nach ein paar Anfangsschwierigkeiten sind wir mit den Vorbereitungen (fast) wieder im Zeitplan.
Letzte Woche kamen die Plakate und die Flyer, und gestern sind die Aushangphotos fertig geworden. Alles sieht sehr schön aus.
Aber die Plakate hängen noch nicht überall dort, wo sie hängen sollten und die Kiste mit den Flyern ist noch fast unberührt. Außerdem hängen noch keine Bilder in meinem „Private Room“, und ich war noch nicht beim Friseur …
Aber die Einladungen für die Premiere sind (fast) alle raus – und die Premierenfeier steht. Das sind zwei Sorgen weniger.
Man kann übrigens die Plakate auch kaufen.
Im DIN A1-Format kostet es € 5,00 – als DIN A0 €15,00;
das DIN A0-Plakat gibt es auch in einer begrenzten Auflage von 40 Exemplaren numeriert und signiert von Chantal und mir zum Preis von je € 25,00 (Verkauf im „House of Shame“ an der Garderobe).

Davor ging sie 17 Jahre auf dem Transenstrich anschaffen.

House of Shame is a Queer Party in Berlin that offers disco house beats and live acts every Thursday night. Every Thursday a new and different act – for the past ten years without interruption.
Chantal is the organizer of this party – for all of the past ten years.
Before that, she was a tranny hooker on the streets for 17 years.
Chantal is transsexual. And an underground legend.
